I nodded to her, though I wasn't sure what it was that she could do for me . . . the shame that I carried and the wounds that came with it, were far deeper then any physical help might provide. "Thankyou . . .um . . .Ed." I then looked up at the night sky, seeing the millions of stars stretched across a velvety black expance. And, in its center, I saw the moon . . . It wasn't entirely full yet but, what did that matter? Despite the legends and folklore about werewolves, it was common, especially from those borne of wolfen blood, to transform at will. Though we still could not do so durring the day, it was almost instinct to talk the form of our animal sides durring the darker hours. So, I turned again to Ed. "I can't say anything for you, my friend. But, I find myself a bit hungry, and it's been a long time since I've been hunting."

I smiled, "yes, i find myself a bit hungry as well." I thought quietly, looking at him i smiled ruefully. "Where are you planning on going hunting.

I pondered the question for a moment or two, then lowered my hood, revealing my face, and the scar that ran along its right side. My eyes shown golden in the darkness . . .but a smile was played upon my face. "You would know far better then me where the best hunting is, Ed. I know very little of these low lands . . .being a full blooded mountain wolf myself. But then again, I suspect that you know that already . . .I can smell the same thing on you."

I studied his face when he lowered his hood.. and the scar that ran along it's right side.
I returned a smile and then said, "I'm agraid that i'm not that familiar with these parts either. Morgan" I pondered his words, "A full blooded mountain wolf.. i should of known. Indeed i am from the mountains as well."

I gave Ed a smile when she told me that she hailed from the moutains like I did . . .however, she didn't know the land as well as I had hoped. That meant that both of us, if we intended to go hunting, would have to dive into uncharted territory . . .
That thought pleased me.
"Well then, my new found friend, I guess we should begin." I knelt down on the ground, lowered my eyes, and let the wolfen side of me take control. He came without hesitation and he came quickly. After all, for a wolf, hunger is the strongest leverage . . .and the wolf was very hungry. My hands became padded and clawed, my mouth and nose lengthened to a wolf's muzzle, I sprouted a black tail, and a black coat of fur covered my body. Until I stood before Ed a wolf, draped in a long black cloak.

I smiled, watching him transform. "I guess we should then. Though i might find someplace with a little more cover." i say gesturing towards my clothing, not easy for a wolf to get out of. I looked admiringly though at his black coat.
I then found a bushy area and someplace to store my clothing for a while. And then transforming in much the same way that Morgan had. I returned a white she-wolf, with black claws and dark brown eyes.

I blinked as Ed emerged from the bushes. She was as white as the mountain snow . . .completely oposite of my ebony coat. I wagged my tail. The wolf wanted to go, it was overjoyed at the thought of hunting, and with one of his own kind no less . . .the fact that she was a female . . .well, that only added to his joy. Meanwhile, the man that was now within the wolf, found himself a little embarressed by the wolf's behavior.

i grinned wolfishly at his joy.. i to felt joyous, it has been a long time since i've hunted. I sniffed the air.. where would a good place to hunt be. I thought then about the Morgan.. a wolf or northern origins. I had not hunted with another wolf since i left the mountains so long ago.
I looked at him, a different look in my eyes. I then nipped at him playfully and danced away.

I jumped at Ed as she danced away from me and I went after her tail, playfully nipping at it and yipping. The wolf had not seen another wolf since the day he had been banished from his moutain home, and though the man didn't quite understand the ways of wolfen amusement, he went along all the same.

i turned my head back when he nipped at my tail and nipped back at him, running on. For a moment i was back in the snow, running next to me my late husband and mate, Cai.. but then i was back again, running over the turf. i turned and ran through the woods, i had thought of a place to hunt.
