Ridaim’s Story Chapter 1 The Red Warrior’s Past
A man walks into an old beat up Inn and sits down at the counter and orders a drink at the bar. The Innkeeper asks the stranger, “What’ll you have buddy.” The stranger looks the man square in the eyes and says, “I want to know everything you know about the Red Warrior named Ridaim.” The Innkeeper closed his eyes and continued to polish his mug and thinks back. He then puts the mug down and places his hand on the counter and begins his story. “Ridaim is truly the definition of strength. Born of a dead woman and raised by mercenaries he is one really tough man. No matter what goes wrong, or what is taken away from him he fights on and on, not stopping until every enemy in his path is destroyed,” The Inn keeper said to the stranger. What do you want with Ridaim anyways? The stranger got a little irritated but said, “I just want to know is there something wrong with hearing a story from the past.”
The Innkeeper raises a brow and say’s ,”Ok I will continue then. As a young man he was raised by a man named Gando, a mercenary, after the woman who found him and cared for him had passed on from a disease. Gando was a cruel and strict teacher and started training Ridaim at an early age so he could earn money in ongoing campaigns.
After Gando was injured in a battle and driven insane with rage he attempted to kill Ridaim, only to be killed. Pursued by his once allies Ridaim wanders out on his own and becomes a formidable mercenary.
During one campaign he comes up against the legendary band of the Chaos, but never actually has to face off against them. Seeing it is a losing battle, and having done their part the Chaos leave and Ridaim helps to defeat Sano, the 30 man slayer.
After the battle and while traveling some of the Chaos attempt to steal his money and end up getting destroyed by Ridaim and his huge sword - until he comes up against Morgana, a female leader of the Chaos. While fighting her and almost defeating her, their leader Hugo interferes. A meeting that would change the course of Ridaim's life forever.
Through various events Ridaim becomes a leader in the Chaos and is instrumental to Hugo’s ascension, and all too involved in the fall... One of the strongest warriors on the battlefield and slayer 100 men, Ridaim is not to be taken lightly. Where he is now and what he is doing now I don’t know.”
The stranger leans back into his chair and appears to be thinking to himself. He then speaks to the Innkeeper and says, “What did this Ridaim look like. He must have been a very large man. The Bar Tender thinks for a moment then says, “He was very large then I wonder what he looks like now. . . By the way stranger what is your name?”
The stranger lowers his hood and says, “The name is Lupercus Nightroad.”
The innkeeper smiled and said, “Well then Lupercus The name is Walter.”
“So you don’t have any idea where this Ridaim is then right now,” Lupercus asked.
Walter shook his head and spoke, “The last I heard he was off with his Beloved Toemi training in the woods somewhere.”
With that Lupercus put his hood back up and said, “Thanks Walter I will remember your generosity and kindness.” Lupercus walked out of the Inn and started down a dark road looking for the Red Warrior.

Chapter 2 Toemi and Ridaim in the Woods
In all of his wildest dreams he had never even imagined that it could be like this. How could such a small band of misfits form the most powerful army in Midland? But moreover how could he be caught in the middle of it? He shifted on the cold stone of the fort they were now occupying, trying his hardest to get comfortable in such a position. Ridaim lifted his sword above his head, pointing it at the moon as if that were his one target. Snow fell onto the tip of his blade, but he hardly noticed it as he just lay there in deep thought. Things had progressed so far in such a short period of time that it was almost surreal where his life was now.
Ridaim could hear the quietly padding footsteps coming up behind him, but he didn’t even bother to turn around, or for that matter even try to defend himself. There was only one person he knew that could sneak up on you so quietly, and there was really no reason to put your guard up around them…not anymore at least.
“If I didn’t know any better I’d say that you actually wanted to catch a cold.” The deceivingly soft voice rang in his ears, and for the first time that night he felt some form of tranquility. But then again he didn’t know why that at all surprised him. Hearing that sound was the only time the voices every stopped…the only time he ever knew any peace.
In response to the comment Ridaim just hmphed and slowly lowered his sword, feeling his muscles contract on the way down. But it wasn’t always so, normally the sound of the voice would probably make him nervous. But not anymore, not since that voice had become so much more to him.
A cold hand was laid on the junction of his shoulder, and unlike what would happen with most people, Ridaim did not flinch away from the touch. “Turn over.” At the command Ridaim didn’t even think about why it was being asked. He just instinctively dropped his sword to the ground and turned over on his stomach.
While resting his head comfortably in his arms he sighed as a familiar weight settled onto the small of his back. Ridaim’s’ entire body began to tingle as graceful fingers kneaded into all of the sore muscles in his back from the previous battle. “You’re so tense Ridaim…you need to learn to relax.” He could feel hair fall onto his face as the voice leaned down to his ear and playfully whispered. “I don’t make you nervous do I?”
Nervous wasn’t exactly the word he would use to describe the way the body on top of him made him feel. But at the moment he would mostly have to say aroused. Despite the cold his whole body felt like it was on fire at every small touch from the massage he was getting, and as unbearable as all of this was, it was even more unbearable when those fingers traveled to his neck, and those fingers turned into sultry lips that seared his skin with each kiss.
Not being able to take it anymore, Ridaim turned back around, making the slim body on top of him come to rest on his hips. At seeing the look of lust in those Dark Brown eyes he pulled the mouth towards him, crushing the bubblegum pink lips against his. He pushed his eager tongue into the other’s mouth and was happy when his partner responded with just as much vigor. In fact their tongues continued to battle until the lack of oxygen became unbearable and Ridaim pulled back. His calloused hand traced the smooth cheek of the person he had just been kissing. “Toemi.”

Ridaim's Story Chapter 2 continued
I looked at Toemi and for no reason at all I asked, “Remember how we first met love. The typical damsel in distress. Giving a slight chuckle with the last part.”
Toemi looked at me slightly confused and then realized what I had been talking about. It had been so long ago that I was surprised that even I could remember. But it was just like it was yesterday to me. The day I met my true love.
Would you like to hear some of the events that lead up to it before I got their love?
She rolled her eyes at me and said, “sure, I don’t believe you ever did tell me what you were doing before you met me that night.
I gave a grin and said, “alright here we go then.” Even though I'd been on my own in this cruel world for half of my thirty years I still got sweaty and my heart beat faster each time I thought of a fight. Which I suppose was a good thing since if one gets to use to killing he become a killer and not a warrior.
I looked like what most people would consider a warrior. I had a beefy built with long black hair framing my face and dark Red eyes. I wore faded black britches, a patched and faded black tunic, and a red cloak with a hood. A black belt around my waist. And my Lowlander Scottish Claymore on my back which was my only weapon and my fighting skills was my only armor.
I had been taking a nap on the crest of a small hill in the middle of a plain of waving grass which came up to my waist. Laying down as I was I was well hidden. I heard a scream and gave it little thought the first time. The scream came again this time sounding like it was to my left so I rolled over unto my stomach and regretted it. Because of the heat of the summer day I had taken off my tunic and now the stiff grass was hard against my bare skin.
I figured it would be better to hide in the tall grass until I could find out what was screaming and why. I had learned long ago not to rush into things without knowing what was happening. Which is why I was still alive.
Like a snake I slithered on my belly through the tall grass. I stopped every few inches to listen for any sound that could mean trouble. With my eyes roving the tall grass at the same time.
After a few minutes of crawling like this I came to the edge of a town. The buildings were tall and shaggy grey with moss on their dark side. The streets where dimly lit and only about 50 feet away I saw what was making the sounds.
It was girl about my age with long black hair silky and shiny. A perfect body and even more beautiful face. Her brown eyes were wide and full of fear as her death approached on demonic feet.
She was surrounded on all sides. Covered in sweat she was panting like a trapped wolf. But I'm a handsome hero after all and I would die before I'd let such a beautiful damsel be ripped apart by a bunch of demons.
I leapt up from my hiding place in the grass and drew my claymore and bellowing as I did.
"Be gone with you demons."
I landed next to the girl and held my claymore ready. I waited calmly my fingers lightly wrapped around the hilt of my claymore. I watched the demons to see what they were doing before turning my attention's to the larger demons in the distance.
With a smile I watched the first demon swing his claws at me sure that I would perish. I ducked easily under its claws swing and thrust forward with my sword. It screamed as the point pierced its heart. It looked down at the gaping hole my Claymore left then fell to the ground with a thud.
With screams of anger the other demons rushed forward. One was a grey haired, grizzled monster who was slowly by a step than the younger demons beside him. He was tall and broad shouldered.
"You shall die for killing my son.” The old Demon snarled as the younger demon beside him swung. I met his claws blow which was meant to slice me in half and held it for a second while the older man walked forward. Then when he was close enough I spun around and thrust my sword into its belly.
The old demon bellowed as my sword went through its belly and came out the other side. I pushed his body off my blade and ducked as the younger one swung again.
The blade whistled over my head and he reversed the claws to swing downwards in a strike that would cut me in half if I had let it connect. I threw up my sword and caught the down stroke. With a smile he started putting his weight into my sword trying to push me down far enough to cut me. As he struggled his muscle's straining I swung around with my legs and hit his below the knee. The demon cried out in pain and crumpled to the ground. I raised my sword and took off its head.
After all that the other demons that were around us started running away looking for and even stronger demon to combat me and I let them go.
I stood up and wiped my bloody blade on the grass next to where the demon fell. I sheathed it and slowly walked over to the girl who was still in shock. I could not help but to look you up and down as I got closer. She was wearing only a Gothic looking bottom and top which looked like a bikini. She smiled as I walked closer and there was now something in those eyes that drew me on. Something that made me want to hold her close and feel her warmth next to mine. Probably that I was a man and she was a girl.
I walked up to her and she flew into my arms.
"Thank you. I was so afraid I wasn’t going to make it out of that alive."
"Never while I'm around. I'm Ridaim, Ridaim Fitter."
"I'm Toemi. You must come back with me. I can reward you.” Though her voice spoke of treasure as of gold her eyes spoke of another kind of reward. The kind a hero like me prefers.
We walked back to where I had been napping. I packed up my belongings and threw it over my back. I had been without a horse so I was carrying all my belongings.
In an hour or so we came to a small cabin standing near a fast running river. There was a small patch of flowers in front of the cabin and more to the side. She smiled and rushed to the door. Throwing it open she turned and dropped her tunic so that she was naked. I dropped my pack and walked slowly forward looking her lovely, well formed body up and down. "Now for that Reward I promised you. I hope you’re not in a hurry my warrior.” She whispered in a husky voice. She put her right arm around my neck and began moving her left hand up and down my chest and stomach.
My heart was racing like never before. I swept her off her feet and walked into the cabin. I shut the door behind us was walked slowly over to the bed. I laid her down then laid down beside her.
I learned two lessons that night. One, it is good to be a hero and second always beware of women who offer themselves as a reward to a warrior. They're worth it but they'll wear you out every time.
I looked back at Toemi to see her reaction to my new and improved ending to that story only to see her with her hand over her face shaking her head.
“Sorry, that’s what I was hoping I could have had happen but killing more demons and teaching you some new moves was ok. But still I could not help it. It seemed like such a fitting ending to it.”
I give a smile and it was returned with a kiss. Toemi replied, “You got a little carried away but it was alright I liked it.”
