I calmed down some more as Toemi placed her hand on my face and came back to my normal state of mind. I looked her in the eye and said, "Yeah, the sword called out to me from inside the dragon. This sword craves blood and it feeds both the user and itself with blood when it slays the creature. I haven't felt that powerful in a long time." Then all of a sudden the word brother when through my mind. I looked down at the blade then the sword spoke to me again saying help me find my brother. I stood their holding Toemi and then said to her, "I have to find the other sword I guess it has a brother and if that’s the case then I would have to guess that the other sword is just as powerful if not more so you ready for more adventure?"

I smiled as I saw the old Ridaim return. The fire in his eyes faded and he began to explain how he had come across this bizzare sword. I had to admit, I found the story . . .facinating . . . and the idea that there was a brother sword somewhere nearby was even more appealing to my fathomless curiosity. When Ridaim asked me if I would like to join him in yet another adventure I stepped out of his arms and gave him a look that told him the answer before I did. "Come now, my love, do you even have to ask?"

I placed my hand on the back of my head and smiled. "I wouldn't want to drag you around with me if you didn't want too, but I knew I want to just wanted it to sound good . . . because I know you want me," I giggled I looked down at the sword which has a saw-edged blade. The guard resembled a mouth with sapphires for fangs and the blade extending from it like a tongue. Its' grip is formed like an armored arm, with the hand holding a skull with pearls for eyes and an onyx in its mouth. I then said, "You know this sword is actually kind of cool looking." Then the sword started speaking out load instead of in my mind, " What are you waiting for lets find my brother!" I shook my head in amazement and nodded my head and looked at Toemi, "You ready to kick some demon butt?"

I giggled back at him and rolled my eyes. "Yes, love, the sword is very dashing . . .just like you of course." Then I was surprised, to say the least, when the sword itself demanded that we go find it's brother. After staring at the blade for a few moments in awe, I shook my head and gave Ridaim a wide grin. "I say we waste no more time! I hope you have some idea where you're going though . . .because I don't have the slightest clue."

Too tell you the truth I don’t have a clue. I looked at the sword and said, "I hope you have and Idea were we are going!"
The sword replied, "I feel his presents to the East."
I shrugged my shoulders and said, "I guess we are going to be going east."
I pulled off my old sword sheath and altered it into two separate sheaths and set them at opposite sides. I placed the Sword of Blood into the sheath. I then looked to the east and started walking. I winked at Toemi as I walked past her and gave her a quick slap on the butt when she wasn't looking. I darted off from there.

As Ridaim told me that we would be heading east I nodded once and was about to follow his lead . . . However, as he walked past, he slapped me playfully on the backside! Then, staying true to his rather childish nature, he raced off ahead of me. What he did took me by surprise (though it really shouldn't have). But within a second or two I regained myself. "Oh you think you can get away with that do you?" I shouted after him, starting to run close behind. I soon caught up with him, running up alongside him. "I owe you for that one," I said with a devilish smile.

I grinned back and said, "I'm looking forward to it love." As I turned back to the front there was a shadowed figure up ahead. I nodded forward pointing it out to Toemi as we got closer. I placed my hand on my new sword and prepared for the worst.

When Ridaim nodded ahead of us, my attention was taken off his mischievous attitude and was focused instead on the strange shadowy shape in the distance. Instinctively, my hand went for the hilt of my own sword as we closed in on the thing . . .whatever it was it was still too veiled by darkness to determine exactly what it was.

As I got closer I was able to see a frail looking human body. It looked as like it was an elderly human. I relieved some of the pressure off my blades handle and relaxed slightly but not much. I slowed down to a strong pace for a walk and watched the figure closely. Then it spoke when I was about 15 feet from it.
"Hello there strapping young man," the figure said.
It sounded like and old woman. I thought and I got a comfortable distance from her for normal conversation and came to a stop. I took a good look at her and she had a glass ball on a stand in front of her like a fourture teller. she had long white hair and skin so rinkled that she must have been over 100 years old. i stood there for only a few moments and replied, " Hi, What are you doing in a place like this?"
She replied, "I could assssk you the sa sa sammmmee thing boy. My name is Shalia and yours would beeeeee?"
I paused for a minute and then said, "The name is Ridaim Fitter."

It wasn't long before the mysterious shape came into veiw. And, just as Ridaim had done upon seeing it, I too let my guard down slightly. After all, what harm could an old woman do? When I saw her, I could not help but think it was strange that such a person would be here. With dragons and who knew what other dangerous creatures lurking about, would it not be dangerous for a frail old woman to be wondering about in the open? We stopped and the old lady began to speak, her voice matching her elderly appearence. Still, there was something about her that made me stay close to Ridaim's side, and not drop my guard entirely.
