Shalia: Ahhhhhh yes Ridaim Fitter, I have been expecting you. . . . .
Ridaim: You have been expecting me huh. I Find that very hard to believe.
Shalia: And yes I have been expecting you too Toemi. . . . .
I looked over at Toemi and with a look of confusion and said to her in a wisper, "Did we ever say your name to her???"

When the old woman said that she had been expecting Ridaim, I was surprised. However, when she said that she had been expecting me as well, I couldn't help my jaw from dropping. I looked right back at Ridaim and shook my head. "I didn't say anything . . ." I then turned to the woman, my suspision begining to get the better of me. "Alright, old woman," I started "who are you and how do you know of the two us? I've never seen your face before."

Shalia: You look like you just saw a ghost my lady. Yes this quest you have taken on with Ridaim will test your devotion for him and you love for him, and the same for him to you. Ridaim: You know about the quest that we are on? Shalia: I'm a fourture teller am I not. . . . . Ridaim: *shakes his head in shame* Yeah you are. . . Then Tell me my fourtune then. Shalia: I will do my best to give you the most accurate information I can and you are the maker of you decitions and can change any of this with a minor decision. Shalia's crystal ball lights up and clouds of mist inside start swirling. A picture was starting to come through but would fade very quickly. Shalia: Ridaim my dear. . . you will die in 15 minutes. . . what you do to stop it is up to you. This is just one future I can see. . . Ridaim: I don't believe you at all!!!! I make my own future and it has no death in the near future for me.

When Shalia made her prediction of Ridaim's death, I felt as though I had just swallowed a boulder. Like my lover, I found it impossible to believe that the old woman could make such a statment, and with such certainty! I stepped forward. "Listen here, old woman!" I almost shouted with my eyes aglow "If you can fortell his death, then you you should be able to fortell how to prevent it!"
Shalia: shaking her head "I cannot foresee everything my dear. As I said before, the future is not set in stone. It can be changed by the decisions that you make . . .only you two can decide whether the future that I have predicted will come to pass or not."
Suddenly, a thick mist began to swarm in around the three of us and soon, the old woman Shalia had vanished in the soupy haze. I charged forward, reaching out into the fog to take hold of her but, my hand found nothing but air.

I stood there and watched Shalia vanish and I felt something click inside of me. . . Something primal almost. . . I think it was my servival instinks taking over. . . I looked around examining everything with great detail. The room was dark but that didn't stop me from looking. . . Eyes straining then I thought I saw something move in the shadows. . . .

I cursed under my breath as the old woman disapeared, leaving my most important questions unanswered. However, it wasn't long before my attention was drawn to something else. Seconds after Shalia vanished, there was the presence of something else . . .something far darker than anything we had before met on this twisted adventure. The room around us chilled, causing my breath to mist before my eyes. In the darkness I could see little, but I knew that something was moving close by. It slunk past us in the black, with only a whisp of sound as it passed. "Do you hear it?" I asked Ridaim as I readied my sword "there's something there . . ."
