I chuckled softly. "That's true. There are many vampires here, or at least there are many with vampire blood in them . . .but we were human once too, you know." I sighed. "In fact, it is becoming harder and harder to find humans anymore, I have only come across a few of them in this city . . ." I looked at Ray. "You are human it seems . . .and yet, something more. Your scent gives that much away. There is something dark in you." I furrowed my brow, trying to determine what that darkness might be . . .it was similar to what dwelled within me . . .

I was walking the city looking for Toemi and could not find her so I decided to walk to the bar . . . . I walked down the beaten street and the splashing of water on the road from a recent rain had made the air damp. Off in the distance I could see the bar and raised my hood over my head so that nobody would recognize me. I was wearing a heavy dark blue robe with a belt holding it close to my waist. I had large black flare like pants on and armor over my shoulders and arms. I had two swords stretched across my back and gauntlets on. I had a goatee and shoulder length black hair. You could not see my face just my goatee and some hair sticking out of the hood . . . . I was then only feet away from the bar and opened the door . . . the doorbell rang and the place was packed . . . I looked around for an open seat and ordered a drink along my way . . . . I saw a dark corner seat which I could sit and see everyone and I motioned the bar keep that I would be there . . . I made my way to my seat and sank into the darkness and placed my feet up on the table and made myself confortable . . . . Once I was comfortable I started looking around the room just to see if anybody notice my entrance . . . . .

As I sat talking with Ray, there was an unmistakable presence that caught my attention. At first it seemed like nothing, but it wasn't long before that same presence became impossible to ignore. My focus temporarily averted from the conversation at hand, my eyes darted towards the tavern door. At first, there was nothing, only the dull murmmer of those that had come seeking the rather tranquil atmosphere of the tavern. But then, just as I was about to look away, a tall and forbidding figure pushed the doors open and stepped inside. My eyes narrowed. The scent was familar, but without a face to put with it, I couldn't be entirely sure of who it was. I watched with interest as the hooded figure made his way to the bar, ordered his drink and then took his place in a rather shady part of the tavern. I hesitated. Should I inquire as to his business here, or would the stranger reveal himself . . .and be who I suspected?

As I sat there I caught the scent of Toemi and my search was over . . . I then knew where she was. She seemed to look puzzled and then didn't take her eyes off me . . . I decided to stay where I was and just stare at her . . . The bar keep came buy with my drink and I reached forward and grabbed it. I wondered how long the curiosity would take for here to get up and find out who I was because she wasn't sure I could tell. Being that I was dressed differently then I have been in the past . . . A grin came across my face and sat there looking at her. Staring at that body of hers . . . *wide grin*

I could tell immediatly that this man was completely at ease in his shadowy surroundings. The bartender brought a drink that was taken almost instantly . . . I didn't want to look away, simply because I could feel his gaze on me . . .such a strange, familiar feeling. I heaved a sigh and took my own drink. "If you'll excuse me for a moment, I have another who I need to speak with." Kindly pardoning myself from Ray's company, I headed to the newcommer's table and took a seat across from him. "Alright," I said somewhat cautiously "Who are you and what business staring at me like that? I feel as if I should know you from somewhere."
