"Ah yes, I have not forgoten about him . . .but, I would suspect that the shadows would be wiser. I don't know what the pack would think of a dragon or two flying in . . .things might get a bit out of hand."

Sita smiled and without warning wrapped the shadows around the two figures. It was only a moment before they landed where he had asked her. She looked around as they landed.

I was caught off guard when Sita so suddenly called the shadows to her and enveloped the two of us. And in what seemed like seconds, we were there, within the reaches of the northern mountains . . .and the home of my family . . . I looked around. Already I could see them appearing, one by one. Some of them in human form, some of them in wolf . . . Their eyes went first to Sita, then to me . . .and upon seeing my face, and the scar that it held, their eyes narrowed . . .a warning growl . . . "Sita," I said in a low voice "I think its best if you step behind me . . ."

Sita didn't like the idea of hiding behind someone but this is was his territory so she listened to him and stood behind him as the wolfs slowly came forward.

I stood firm, even as the ones that had been my kin advanced on us. "I don't come to make trouble for all of you!" I shouted "I seek only to regain my honor as a member of the wolf clan! There is only one that I mean to fight today . . .where is Borgoth?!" They paused. Some of them looked around, some of them didn't stop glaring . . .and one, just one, wined . . . My ears caught the sound, I knew it as well as any . . . A white wolf stepped out, beautiful and flawless . . . " . . .Rain . . ." I whispered, stunned.
Her eyes were crystal blue, as they had always been, and her face showed no less compassion then the day I had left . . . For an instant, the wolf in me felt a horrible ache but then, it was broken by the threatening sound of another voice in the pack. This one caused the entire clan to seperate and bow their heads in submission. A monstrous brown wolf stepped forward, battle scarred and muscular. His cold grey eyes spoke the slew of insults he directed at me without him having to make another sound.
"Borgoth."

Sita turned her head away, not wanting to look at the wolf named Rain. She could feel that the wolf longed for her and was alittle sorry that she could not fill that longing. Her hair now loose from it's band, made a curtain over her face. She finally looked up and saw Borgoth, dileberatly ignoring Rain.

I growled at Borgoth as he approached. And as he came forward, he turned from wolf to man . . .making him seem even larger. He was a mountain of a man, it was no wonder he had held the title as leader of the clan for so many winters . . .his thick arms and broad chest were enough to give the impression that it would not be wise to make him angry . . .
Well, a bit too late for that.
He came within a foot or so of me, looked down, looked over to where Stia stood, and then back at me. His lip curled up in a snarl, as if he were yet a wolf, and then this massive hand struck me hard across the face. My head snapped to one side and I looked at the gound for a moment . . .then spat out blood. Then I met his eyes again, those blazing, terrifying eyes that made the wolf in me wimper.
"How dare you come back, you shamefull excuse for a wolf! And to bring a human with you!You are a disgrace to your people Morgan, the mark on your face should have told you that much!"

Sita clenched her fists and tried her best to keep them at her side as he called her a human. 'How dare he measure me to a pathetic human!' She raged in her head. But when he slapped Morgan she growled in her head, loud enough for the whole clan to hear. She was to upset to put up barriers for them not to hear. She stared unblinkingly at Borgoth.

I saw Borgoth's attention turn to Sita. And even I heard her rage. I knew that the last thing any of us would need would be a battle that involved the whole clan. I tried my best to reach Sita's angry mind. *Please, my love . . .please pay no mind to him. They know nothing of your blood, or who it stems from . . .please, this is my fight.* And though I was trying to quell her anger, my own was rising to dangerous levels as well. Borgoth was arrogent and foolhearted. He would pick a fight if I let him, and I didn't want Sita involved in this, not in this.
So . . . I did the only thing I could think to do. I stepped in front of the big man and returned his greeting with the back of my hand. His head turned slightly and from the corner of his mouth I saw blood. It wasn't much, but it was enough . . . "Your fight is with me, Borgoth! Let wolve's matters be settled with wolves. I challenge you to a fight, I challenge you . . .to the death!" The wolf in me hesitated, but it understood. And soon, it was bristling with the smell of battle. "As I am a rougue wolf, you cannot silence me so easily this time, this will be a fight to the finish." My eyes flared golden and my clawed fingers tightened into fists.

Sita put up her barriers so the wolves would not hear her continually growling, softer than before but still, enough to know she was upset. She looked at Morgan as he talked to her and tried to calm her. She understood full well that this was his fight. She nodded her head to him showing she understood and would try with all her might to control her anger. ~If he kills you I will kill him in vengence, no matter what happens.~
