I half smiled at Sita's reply. *Very well, that seems fair enough.* But, I suppose Borgoth took my smile as an insult for it drove him to become the wolf again and when he changed from man to beast, his hackles raised and he lunged at me without even another word. I was knocked to the ground and it was all I could do to keep Borgoth's fangs from closing on my face. I struggled for a moment or two and then finally managed to force him off of me and change into the wolf that I was . . . *You've no chance, boy!* he snapped at me *or have you forgotten what happened the last time you got in the way?*
I groweled at him. *Oh, I remember, the only difference now is that you are the one who will suffer.* I lunged at him, teeth snapping and claws tearing . . .

Sita stepped back but kept her eyes trained on the two wolves fighting so she could kill Borgoth immediately if he killed Morgan. She had become mostly unaware of her surroundings in paying attention to Morgan and Borgoth.

It was clear from the very start of this match that Borgoth had the advantage. He had size and strength that outweighed my own . . .my only chance was to outdo him with speed and cunning. . . I struck him and it felt as if I were running into a brick wall. He stumbled back a few steps but then he came at me with an attack of his own. I had just enough time to dodge out of the way before he barreled into me. But, he spun around and caught me off guard. His fangs locked on my tail and drug me to the ground.

Sita felt her hands grow claws and her canine teeth become feline. Her eyes were no longer emerald but golden. She was smelling the blood and saw the precise movements of the two wolves.

I knew that I had to get out of his reach. To be underneith him would mean a quick end for me! So I rolled and my fangs made a lash at his face. It was just enough of a distraction to make him draw back.
I scooted out from under Borgoth and then lashed out with my fangs again. This time I found his right ear and latched on . . . Borgoth yelped and twisted in my grasp. When he escaped, I had taken a piece of his ear . . .

Sita looked at Borgoth especially when he yelped. As she took in the details she realized part of his ear was missing. Without really having to look she knew that Morgan had it.

My eyes flicked to where Sita was, I gazed at her, as if to say (be strong, my love . . .I will be fine.) though I doubted that I would. Then Borgoth lunged . . .his claws cut through the air and tore into my shoulder. I yelped and danced away, swinging back at him and striking him in the side of the face. Then he launched his body at me and shouldered me to the ground in a pile of blood stained snow. I lay there a moment and huffed wearily . . .then rose to my feet and went at him again, this time with everything that I had! I plowed into him and snapped at his coat with greedy fangs. Within moments we were a mass of wolfen furry. There were no rules now, just rage. Teeth nashed, claws tore and bodies bashed into one another.
I somehow managed to throw Borgoth the the ground, after he had sank his teeth into me several times and I into him! I was on top of him in an instant! But even that was not quick enough. With his back legs he launched me off and sent my crashing into one of the rock walls that surrounded the den of the clan. I collasped to the ground in pain.

Sita took a step forward, aware that Borgoth at that moment had the upper hand. She had a worried look in her eyes but took a step back, remembering this was Morgans fight. She looked at him as if to say 'Don't leave me. Please don't.'

As I lay there, in the snow, I saw Borgoth's hulking figure nearing me . . .this was his moment. He was taking his time now, thinking that I was defeated . . .
Perhaps he was right to think so . . .perhaps I had lost.
But then, my eyes shifted. There was Sita . . .the look in her eyes . . . My mind raced. I couldn't leave her! Once a wolf declares himself to another, it is for life. . . I huffed a breath, my vision focused and unfocused from the blow that I had taken . . .from the many blows I had taken. But then, somehow, I found my way to my feet and ran at Borgoth one last time! Caught off guard by my sudden attack, he stumbled and fell on his back, exposed to my fangs. In slow motion the next events seemed to follow . . . I looked into his eyes, and he into mine . . . And then my fangs came down!
He struggled for a while, but then, Borgoth's body lay still in the crimson snow and I stumbled off of him . . .and towards Sita.

Sita smiled and ran towards him, when she reached him she hugged him tightly and kissed him. As she pulled away she whispered, "Please don't ever scare me like that again. Promise?"
