I smiled at what Tethys said. "If you can do that, then I would be greatful indeed . . .as would my mother . . ." I paused, thinking. "You know, Tethys, for a vampire, you are different. It seems that you are both sides of a coin . . .kind and knowlegable on one side, and dark and dangerous on the other."

I laughed at what she said and smiled at her. "Indeed I am, but you are the first to say anything like that my friend." I then sensed a great evil that made the hairs on my neck stand up and I looked around and then slowly went for my katana and said "Tell me, does you fathers evil also affect and turn things to horrifying creatures?"

I stopped, suddenly feeling a chill in the pit of my stomach. "His curse may be able to do such a thing, I have no idea what sort of evil my mother cast on him, if I had to guess . . .if his presence could kill and mutate a forest, it could do as much to its inhabitants." I flipped loose the straps on my long blades and held them at the ready. My staff fell to the side and I took a slow breath as the breeze died around us. . . . It was then that I heard something move, to my right . . .breathing, that was something neither human nor animal . . .the scent was fowel and it reeked of Sholamare's blood. "Ready yourself, Teth . . .its one of my father's children . . .tainted by his blood."

I heard her and then drew both katanas and looked to the right and heard the noise to and I went right by Robins side and said "oh I am ready my friend and looks like you have guessed my nickname I am called by those I trust." I then chanted a little spell and my blades glowed with a holy light and I smiled at where the noise came from.

All of the sudden I heard a loud crashing through the trees and knew that, whatever it was, had decided to show itself. And, it was big . . .bigger then I thought anything that had once been alive could be . . . The earth shook slightly as it landed a short distance away from the two of us . . .it was hesitating. Either waiting for my father's command, or debating weather we were a threat big enough to fear or not. "Teth . . .tell me, what are you seeing . . ."

I looked at the creature and said "Well its big and ugly with sharp claws and teeth" I said with a smile and then I gave her the full description of it(I am to lazy lol so here is a picture instead) I then went into an attack stance and looked at the beast and wondered what the hell it was.

I smirked. "That's all I need to know . . .no doubt it is some forest creature that was normal at one point, only shows what tainted blood can do to the innocent." I tightened my grip on the two long knives that I held.
And then the beast came!
I could hear its large feet thumping the ground and its foweled breath steaming the air as it met us head on!
I rolled out of the way of its charge and got to my feet, straining my ears and my senses to pin point it. Then I leapt forward and lashed out at what should have been his heel tendon . . .my aim was true and my blade cut clean through . . . It would slow him but not end him . . . "Tethus! I need your swords!"

I saw the beast charge and I waited to see what Robin would do and when she rolled away I jumped to the side and turned around and saw Robin had wounded it but not enough to cause major damage, it would only slow it down.
I then heard her and said “Right!” and then ran at the beast and jumped up and did an X slash to its back and got it and it screeched in pain and then turned quicker then I thought it could and hit me hard with its arm and I was sent flying into a dead tree braking it in two. I then got up slowly and said “Damn, it attacks faster then I thought” and then I got ready for it to attack.

I cursed under my breath as I heard Tethys go flying by me and destroy a nearby tree. The thing was stronger then I would have expected . . .but then again, with blood like that, there was no telling what it could do . . . In an instant, I crouched down, sheethed my long knives, and took four of my throwing blades from their place at my belt. I then sprang up, running at the creature . . . I let the blades fly . . . Two hit true, by the sound of the bellow that followed (hit him in the right chest) however, the other two simply struck the trunk of a tree behind him as he leaned to avoid them. I felt the draw of air that came just before his massive claw swung out to bring me down, and that was enough warning for me to stop running and throw myself to the ground, hands down and ready to come up again when he came for another pass.

I saw Robin attack and saw that out of four knives she threw, only two hit their mark and the others hit a tree and then the beast went after her and I saw her hit the ground to avoid it so I took that chance while she was busy and took out the knife in my boot and threw it at the beast.
It hit the beast in the back and I started taunting it saying "Over her you foul beast, come and get me if you can" and it growled and ran at me and I smiled and then removed my cloak which hid my wings and I flew into the air and it ran right under me and I kicked it in the head and it swung at me with it’s claws and I just dodged them in time and it attacked again and I yelled “Now while I have it distracted” and dodged its other attack.
