I heard the struggle between Tethys and the beast that was attacking her, and so, when she yelled out for my assistance, I was happy to comply. I loosed both blades at my wrists and ran towards the sound of her voice, and the sound of the creature's feet. When I got within four feet or so of the two of them, I let my knives fly, knowing percisely where they would strike . . . Then, with I thud, and a shifting of earth, I knew that the creature had fallen . . .

As I distracted the beast, I heard something cutting through the wind and looked to see that Robin had thrown her blades and that they hit their mark and the beast fell to the earth with a thud. I then took one katana and beheaded it just incase it was a beast that could always rise up unless it was beheaded of or stabbed in the heart and I was not even sure where the heart was or even if it had one.
“Thanks for the assistance my friend…now we should be on our way to the castle before more beasts come from the smell of blood” I said and walked over to my cloak and then saw it was ruined and sighed and then I tore and put the fabric into my pouch and kept five peaces out and used two to clean my katanas and then I went to the beast and pulled out the knives(1 mine and the others Robins) and I cleaned them and handed them back to her(by the hilts) and I sheathed my own and went to the tree that Robins other two knives were in and I pulled them out and handed those to her to and said “We are going to need these for later.”

I bowed my head slightly. "It is I who should be thanking you for your help, Teth. If you had not been there to drive the beast from me . . .well." I smiled and held out my hand as Tethys handed me the blades. I felt for the loops in my belt so that I could place the missing throwing knives, and then I strapped the long knives to my wrists again. "Yes, more will come, and the scent of blood in his forest will not escape Sholamare's notice, we best get moving."

I listened and said "indeed, let us be off before more come...we do not want to waist out strength fighting these beast all day." I then waited for her to lead the way so I could follow.

I took up my staff again and began to walk up the path that had led us this far. I tapped the ground lightly, as I had done before, but this time, I could tell that we must be nearing our destination, for I didn't need eyes to tell that the landscape was begining to ulter . . . The wind suddenly blew cold and chilling to the bone. Its howling filled my ears so deeply that I could almost hear its voice, a sorrowful cry that moaned and begged to be heard.
Even the land cried in this place . . .it was all but dead in a place that shouldn't have been here at all. After a few moments, I stopped and pointed, knowing very well where we were. "There," I almost shouted to Tethys. "Blue Ridge Castle, home of the dark lord, Morgan Sholamare." It was a tall and foreboding structure, its slick black walls haunted and cold. Not a single light could be seen from the outside . . .it was as silent as a graveyard, and yet, as loud and a thunderstorm in its own way.
He knew we had come . . .

We walked for a while and then the wind changed and I looked up when I heard Robin and saw the castle. As I looked at it I felt a chill go up my spin and shivered and said in a voice crossed between mine and my inner demons "It reeks of death and malice among other things…it even sends chills down my back.” Just then my eyes changed color and I looked at the castle with red ones instead of ice blue ones and then I closed my eyes for a moment and when I opened them they were normal and I said “Well I bet he knows we are here so we may as well make our appearance in front of him.”

I caught just a hint of Tethys' demon as she spoke to me, but smiled to myself when she was finished. "My father has that affect on most creatures . . .but, don't worry, he does know that we have arrived, and he will let us know soon enough . . ." I waited for a few seconds, then, as if on cue, the heavy iron gates surrounding the courtyard, creeked open. It was the sound like nails on a chalk board . . .a hidious screeching . . . "And the gates are open." I turned to Teth . . . "Let us go greet our host." I turned and made my way into the courtyard and up to the wooden doors of the castle . . .

I listened to Robin and then heard the iron gates open and I covered my ears and cursed for I hated the sound like nails on a chalk board. I then removed my hands and heard her and said "Ya, and lets give him a proper greeting" and I adjusted my katanas so I could draw them faster.

I came at last to the castle doors. Reaching out a hand, I touched to smooth wooden planks that made up the main doors, and it was then that I heard a familiar summons from within the keep itself . . . *So, you have come for me at last, dear daughter . . .and brought a companion no less. I must say, that is surprising . . .*
I tightened at Sholamare's voice. "Be silent, demon, I come only to put an end to you, that is all!"
I heard a faint chuckle on the wind as the doors creeked open. Then I turned to Tethys. "Come, he waits just inside, be sure that you are ready, my friend. As I have said before, he knows far more tricks then most."

I let out a small hiss when I heard the faint chuckle on the wind and then I heard Robin and I said "I am ready my friend, and I have a few tricks of my own." I smiled and then made sure my deom within me was calm for I did not want to use the demonic power unless I had no choice and when it was I looked at Robin and said "Well shall we go in and show this evil being a thing or two before his death."
