I took her hand in mine and kissed it gently. "It's alright, you can tell me what you saw. It is best to tell others of such things, rather then keep them hidden away . . .what was happening in your vision my love?"

Sita smiled at him and took a deep breath, "Nothing out of the ordinary except...........I didn't see my grandmother there. She was never one to hide in her tepee when her people needed her."

I thought about what Sita had said for a few moments. Perhaps something was wrong after all. I couldn't be sure but . . . "Could you go and see them?" I asked, looked over to her again. "Could you go to your village and see for yourself what has happened there?"

Sita looked out at the horizon and nodded her head, "But I'm not sure how well they'll welcome Minowa again. Last time I was there, umm....things weren't the best."

I sighed. "Well, there is only one way to find the truth, Sita. I don't believe that you want to go on wondering what is happening . . .sometimes, it is best to simply grin and bare it." I offered her a smile and laid my hand on her's. "Besides, I will be going with you."

Sita smiled at him and squeezed his hand slightly. "I know." She hugged him tightly and slowly wrapped the shadows around them both. As the shadows disappeared she looked around and saw her old village again.

I held tightly to Sita's hand as she summoned the strange shadows. We were both eveloped in darkness . . .I had still not gotten used to Shadow travel very well. However, when they disapeared, I found that we were . . .well, what I supposed was Sita's home. I let go of her hand and looked about, sniffing the air for anyone that might be nearby.

Sita stood up and walked alittle bit then stopped and closed her eyes. Listening to the wind. When she had heard enough she bolted in the direction that it had come. As soon as she skidded to a stop she was in front of a tepee that somewhat looked like everyone else's. But this one had a special sign above the flap............this was her grandmothers tepee.

I knew that there was something odd about this place. The wolf in me could sense it and it made him nervous . . .scents that were not that much different then Sita's were mingled in the air here . . .but, there was more . . .more that I could not discern. But then, before I could discover what misteries my lie in waiting . . .Sita took off. I turned and followed. She came to a hault and I came slowly to her side. Her eyes were on the sign above the door . . . I found myself wondering if there was something wrong . . .

Sita bent down and walked through the flap. She looked inside and found her grandmother laying on a mat in the far corner. She ran to her and knelt next to her.
